The Roadmap minor updates and will be looking to get feedback on priorities from the business managers and others over the next couple of months.

Change will be happening to the naming of local offices / designated bodies. This is forewarning that if your create reports and filter with “legacy” descriptions then you will need to start process of updating. Assuming this will be communicated to data leads. The abbreviations will also be updated e.g. HEEM, HEKSS et al. Need to get advice from the business managers around this. These changes will be applied for August changeover to support the new starters process.

Revalidation - GMC Error Codes updated

Cai Willis

The GMC has provided us with updated documentation for their API. We have updated our applications accordingly so that when specific errors come back from the GMC, whatever went wrong will be clear to the user

Update fundingStatus once a post funding is created/updated/deleted

Only “disconnect” doctors, after we’ve updated a designated body from the GMC

Joseph (Pepe) Kelly

Previously, we were removing all doctors “currently known” connection and then using the information from the GMC to mark them as connected again.

This change improves the time it takes from ~1h 30m to under 40 minutes.

The most significant benefit is that it is now less disruptive to run the GMC update during the day if we need to.

This is largely because we reduced the number of changes that have to be made and that comes with a number of small but direct benefits.

SSL updates

Joseph (Pepe) Kelly

Covered for another year. There may be some resources that we still want to do this for.
