Glossory of Slack Emoji Responses

As our Slack channels tend to be fairly busy, many team members will provide quick responses or feedback to slack messages with an emoji.

These are not always clear, and have a tendency to become in-jokes which can be confusing for new starters or people who spend more time on teams.

Below is a “glossary” of common slack responses reflecting the culture of our team:

	The dreaded chicken hat - a mistake was made (usually affecting production) - intended to be a light hearted “Mea Culpa”

	This is terrible!
	“Awesome” - “This is moving the team forwards” - “This is going above and beyond”
