What is the purpose of planning?

  1. Identify goal(s) and what needs to be done and ID specific stories against the goal(s)

  2. Planning tickets to bring into Ready for Dev to work on (most of which to complete) in next iteration.

  3. Review metrics dashboards for potential insights to work on in the coming Iteration

  4. Ditto above, plus check the capacity of the team in the next two weeks (availability etc)

  5. Resolve prioritisation / sequencing

  6. Assessing work in progress on the board against refreshed goals

  7. Planning is not a refinement session - this is what the Refinement session 2 days before is about

Primary Goal

  • Make improvement to the CCT calculator so we can begin follow up work (LTFT) - Nazia AKHTAR

Research Goal

  • Public Health Works - Nazia AKHTAR meeting with local office about East Midland and West Midland differences (ON HOLD)

  • Form R -improvements - Nazia AKHTAR going to have 2nd part of meeting with Lyn Bradley to look at LO feedback. (Poll for dates sent out)

  • LO feedback of new starter Pilot - send out survey to LO this week ( Nazia AKHTAR ) (In progress)

  • Special Interest Field - meeting on 05/11 to discuss way to do it on Admins side (we have to reload data before TIS work) ( In progress)

  • Placement Changes Notifications - research how trainee want to be informed. Nazia AKHTAR research work with LOs and adding it to the Epic, will be brought to refinement once enough collected.

  • CCT feedback - collecting feedback on mural

  • Onboarding Tracker - collecting feedback on mural

  • Kavitha.Shankar making some improvement whilst waiting for feedback (Claire & Alice) on Oriel reports (work to be published before April) (In Progress)

  • Course Manager discovery - Ade.Olaiya has the outputs from discovery and has taken from the alpha stage the areas for experiment and Nazia AKHTAR to catch up with the update of progress (workout how long each experiment will take and place it into a plan)
