  • Trust ESR Management - Pulls all current posts per trust, EmployingBody and TrainingBody, which of those have positions and which do not.

    • Of those with positions what those are

    • Of those without, post details for those

  • Local Office ESR Post Management

    • Look at overall picture of all trusts per local office (not a performance tool as not all local offices have all trusts signed up)

    • Breakdown of posts with position number

    looking at the report I can get it to a place where I need it when focusing on primary specialty for my Programme and region 'General Practice', but I would like to understand if we could slice it further by 'Approved Grade Name' or by the specific grades field, this field is shown on front end of tis as = 'Other Grades' value example 'Specialty Training Year 3'. This would allow me to filter/slice by secondary care specialty within my specific Programme name 'General Practice Birmingham and Solihull/City VTS

    Could you let me know who the working group was that initiated the original business case for the report? To get an answer about making the dashboard actionable and benchmarkable against fill rate percentages they would be able to let me know what they think is acceptable buckets or ranges in the report.

Rotation ESR Management

  • Of the trainees within the window to be exported(13wks from the placement start date to 2 days before the placement start date i.e. BETWEEN 13wks > Placement start date AND placement start date > 2 days) which placements have been exported and which placements haven’t been exported:

    • Aggregate per local office

    • Aggregate per trust

    • Aggregate per specialty

  • For those that exist in the above window but haven’t been exported, categorise potential cause/reasons by the following:

    • posts without position number

    • missing mandatory data on the person record

    • unidentified issue

  • Of those records which have been exported, list the following information:

    • What filename was it exported in?

    • When was it sent?

    • What position number was it sent to?

TLDR: The rationale for the above reporting requirements is so that HEE TIS can evidence that a trainee’s data (application file or notification) has been exported with details of: when, to which position number and in which ESR file.
