Notifications can be used to update users on the status of records within the Revalidation application. This is useful in a number of scenarios, particularly where follow on activity is required.


Who can be notified?

  • A trainee may be notified if an update to their record is being made where they should be notified, or requesting their input offline

  • An admin may need to be notified where a trainee’s record assigned to them needs to be updated, or has been updated elsewhere for example via GMC Connect


Scenarios

The below “Notification triggers’ detail the scenarios whereby either a Trainee or Admin may be notified, how they will be notified and the actions that can be taken as a result.
