Whether it's home, remotely, working part-time, working compressed hours. We've got people doing it. It's best to speak to your line manager though first to cover if it's ok.

Perks
Health Service Discount
This scheme is specifically for NHS employees and covers a bunch of vouchers and deals for major fashion chains, holidays, insurance, mobile phones and travel. To get access to this you need to visit the [Health Service Discounts](https://healthservicediscounts.com/) page and sign up. It might take a while to get approved but once you're in, you're in.
Emergency Services Discount
This isn't that well known and not advertised all over but you can get various discounts from retailers such as KFC/Tossed and Nandos. It also covers mobile providers like EE where you get 20% off with your NHS card. Probably best to ask in-store
Health and Social Security Recreational Association (HASSRA)
This costs £2.10 a month deducted from your salary and gives you discounts on cinema tickets, zoos and holidays. To join, click on the "non-DWP" section on the joining page of the [HASSRA website](http://www.hassra.org.uk/)
Cycle Scheme
The Cycle to work scheme is a government-backed initiative encouraging a healthier lifestyle and promote greener travelling. You can loan a bike and accessories up to the value of £1000 which is deducted from your salary over a 12 month period. Provided that the bike is used travelling to and from work the cost is deducted from your gross salary meaning that you generally get a tax saving of around 20-40%
Eyecare Vouchers
Due to using screens most of the day, we're eligible for a free eye test. After your eye test, if you find you need glasses for VDU to use you can apply for a voucher of around £55. You need to complete the form and send it to hr.rewards@hee.nhs.uk. For further information feel free to ask our line manager. Form below
Season Ticket Loans
Health Education England offers a loan which covers the full cost of a season ticket for your travel which will then come out of our salary in 11 monthly installments. The season ticket loan is for a maximum of £5000 so if you're travelling from Yorkshire to London then it's probably not worth it.
This can be used to purchase tickets for:
- Bus
- Train
- Tube
- Tram
- Car Parking Charges
