- study leave funding will be held in HEE from April 2018 onwards
- only used for GP study leave currently, process the study leave and add to a record, pull a report to send
- some trusts are using ESR to record study leave
- request form should also include specialty selection
- Currently Trusts approve study leave requests, only where leave is of type 'other' TPD approval is required
- Expense entitlement recorded are mostly Relocation or Travel.
- EMD - Gerard maintains a list of courses for each specialty.
