Amendments to Review / Planning

Review format:

• POs present a review of goals
• Dev team demo 'done' work contributing to those goals (no more reference to specific list of Jira tickets, and no more reference to work not 'done')
• POs supported by Dev team provide narrative on why, and what, emergency work was brought into the iteration and which committed-to tickets were moved out as a result
• Stakeholders / Users invited to query / interrogate / applaud (after Review, POs convert consensus inputs into backlog tickets, giving the option to consider them in the coming Planning)
• POs present the roadmap
• Stakeholders / Users invited to comment and advise on any changes that should be considered (after Review, POs coordinate amendments to the roadmap)

Ceremonies timings:

In order to accommodate a period of time following Review to create and prioritise inputs ready for the coming Planning session, we are going to move Review (and Retro) to a Tuesday and keep Planning on a Wednesday.

• 2023/24 Reviews (Academic Year May-Apr)
• 2022-23 Reviews (switched to the Academic year: Start of May - End of April)
• 2021-22 Reviews (using the Financial year: Start of April - End of March)
• 2020-21 Reviews (using the Financial year: Start of April - End of March)
