Process Steps
  1. Navigate to People
  2. Search or select a trainee person
  3. system Navigate to placements
  4. Select create
  5. System presents form with the following pre-populated details: first name, last name, address, past/current/future placements (if applicable), programme name, curricula names, curricula start date,
    1. programme name
    2. programme number
    3. curricula name
    4. curricula start date
    5. curricula end date
  6. user User completes relevant additional fields
    1. post number
    2. post details  
    3. placement start date
    4. placement - should prompt pre-population of fields (see Placements - Field Validation)
    5. Select site, grade, specialty, other specialties
    6. Enter start date / end date
    7. select placement type
    8. WTE 
    9. clinical supervisor name
    10. educational supervisor name
    11. MIP
    12. Enyer WTE
    13. Select Clinical Supervisor
    14. Select Educational Supervisor
  7. User saves record
  8. Confirmation of placement is recorded against Trainee record
  9. Confirmation of placement is sent to relevant Trust (i.e. where the placement will be completed)

Placement record to include:

  • start date
    • end date
  • site
  • grade
  • specialty
  • placement type
  • status

    • Post Details to be pre-populated:

    • site,
    • managing deanery,/local office (non-editable)
    • grade,
    • specialty,
    • local post number ,(non-editable)
    • training description

    7. Confirmation of placement is recorded against Trainee record
    8. Confirmation of placement is sent to relevant Trust (i.e. where the placement will be completed)

    7. Link Trainee to Post = Placement
    8. Go into detail view of Placement
    9. Edit placement detail (as in PL3, step 3)

    Rotations can be created in Programme TBC??
