The Trust User Interface (UI) is the web application that Trust admins working with HEE, use to interact with TIS. It includes stories covering generic elements or crossing multiple other components, but doesn't include UI functions which are specific to a single component, e.g. Menus and Navigation stories can be found here, but the screens to manage Programmes would be found in the Programmes and Curricula component.

In summary the access trusts have to V10 (and therefore will need in TIS) is as follows:
- Trainee placement info
- Trainer history (whether by attaching a trainer/supervisor to a placement or to a site e.g. Practice)
- Recording of study leave
- ESR interface
- Non-trainee/trainer info (now agreed as being out of scope of TIS)
- Reporting - trainees in placement, incoming trainees, study leave funding.
Access is based on trainees who have been, are and who will be at a Trust. There is a mixed economy of access with some local offices allowing read/write access and some only allowing read-only. Can be dealt with via roles in the security model.
