  • No reporting is done now within Intrepid
    • there is still a need to keep in mind functional equivalence
  • All data from TIS is fed into data warehouse on a regular basis (every 5 min sync, intraday)
  • We can divide reporting into 4 sets scenarios that users will understand
    • all users can bulk import data << THIS IS NOT REPORTING, for example, bulk import of placement data
    • AD-HOC: all users export of daily data & bespoke BI reports
    • MANDATORY / STANDARD: compliance led mandatory reports via data delivery into Data Warehouse
    • DASHBOARDS: Dashboards that can be consulted on a daily basis by management level Admins

Ad-Hoc / Bespoke Reports

  • ad-hoc reporting should be completed via SSRS/Tableau
  • allow users to access SRSS from TIS, rather than specify reports within TIS
    • stock list of reports - organised by component
    • bespoke reports can be made via regional teams on an ad-hoc basis
  • SSRS has very specific requirements around parameters

Mandatory & Standard Reports

  • standard reports - can be provided via a linked button on the UI to the SSRS tool
    • Provide a list of reports that can be easily requested within the tool
  • TIS team need to know what these reports are so they can be produced in advance of TIS launch by the appropriate team(s)

Dashboards

  • These are not MVP and may or may not be useful to teams

Conclusion

  • Access to SSRS is to be defined as part of change process - can be managed by centrallised teams and accessed granted no an individual basis (for standard reports)
  • No Reporting in the Admin UI
  • all standard reports will be provided via SSS export facility
  • all ad-hoc reports via SSRS
  • TIS export data from SSRS (deep link)
  • Dashboards are not MVP, aside from data quality
    • possibly usable via tableau linkage

  • No labels
