PreSignUp failed with error Invalid email...

 

Cause

This error message is received during sign up when the user’s entered email does not match the email address of any available trainee profile data.

This may be due to an incorrect email being used, a data issue, or a synchronisation issue.

Troubleshooting

The steps below can be followed to identify which of the possible issues are causing the user to experience this error.

Detailed Steps

Search TSS data for profile with matching GMC

  1. Go to Metabase

  2. Select TraineeUI - Prod - Trainee > TraineeProfile

  3. In the top right, filter by Personaldetails:Gmcnumber

Find matching record in TIS

Using TIS
  1. Sign in to TIS

  2. Enter the GMC number in to the Person search

Using Metabase
  1. Go to Metabase

  2. Select TCS PROD > Gmcdetails

  3. In the top right, filter by Gmcnumber

  4. Note the value of the **ID* field

  5. Use the ID value to filter the TCS PROD > Person table to check Role

  6. Use the ID value to filter the TCS PROD > Contactdetails table to check Email
