OOP/LTFT forms and notes

James has asked me to send you the attached forms:

• Out of Programme application form which now also include out of programme pause
• LTFT form which now includes the category 3 for the EM, Paeds and O&G pilots

These are yet to be signed off and need to be tailored to each local office (generic email etc) and so are still subject to change.

Also these won’t yet be implemented nationally owing to OOPP being in phase 2 of roll out across certain specialties in NE, EM, Wessex and NCEL and LTFT nationally but to the specialties outlined above. We will be drawing up plans for national roll out in the next couple of months.

To be frank we have been met resistance from the some of the BMs but the Deans are pro having national forms with the exception of London and KSS who have a portal. However we are striving towards national policy and a common data set as I think it makes sense to align prior to the introduction of the self-service portal and in mind my will reduce the workload and scope of change for the local offices and trainees.
