Root cause(s)
Angular 9 upgrade with Ivy as default (which has a new way of compiling and rendering Angular HTML files to JavaScript)
Trigger
End users were unable to save manually entered assessments in the UI that required a drop down option to be selected for ‘Reason’ (Bulk upload was unaffected)
Resolution
Refactored the Angular HTML file.
Detection
MS Teams - messages from end users not able to save records.
