Actively respond to TSS Review feedback in planning

Trainee Product Team Reviews are encouraging good input from stakeholders, and there are a number of requests for reports or other functionality being proposed during each Review. These need to be considered in a structured way.

Sample feedback (from review meeting 15 Sep 2022):

  • Can I ask for an update on where we are will rolling out reporting to Tableau - not everybody has access to Metabase.

  • How many metabase accounts can we have?

  • Is it possible to create a report which we can use to find out who has submitted Form Rs between particular dates or after a certain date.

  • Is there any intention to build functionality to advise trainees when placements in TIS have changes?

  • Is it possible to have some flag in TIS for standard TIS users to show if trainees are registered (as we don't have access to the TSS Support tab)?

  • Will a report also be available to extract all the information from the Form R. Please can you also confirm when a PGDiT can see their placement can they also see the comments field.

  • I thought a report was available and this would be on Tableau without this how is this going to work? We do not have time to check every trainee on TIS to find out if they have submitted. This is not going to work if we are not able to report on this easily.

  • (In response to list of Metabase reports): Yes but this is on Metabase not tableau, so nobody in the assessment or revaldiation team have this report, this is the team who needs it, so this is not being built to support this core function for the team who administrate it, again I was informed at the start when I raised this, that it would be on Tableau so all the team could run the reports when needed. Especially if we move forward to use this for ARCPs etc.

  • It would be extremely helpful to have a report of who has/has not signed up to TSS so we can chase specific people to sign up, rather than having to chase everyone generically and sending multiple reminders to people who have already signed up.
