11. Notifications for Revalidation

Notifications can be used to update users on the status of records within the Revalidation application. This is useful in a number of scenarios, particularly where follow on activity is required.

Who can be notified?

A trainee may be notified if an update to their record is being made where they should be notified, or requesting their input offline
An admin may need to be notified where a trainee’s record assigned to them needs to be updated, or has been updated elsewhere for example via GMC Connect

Scenarios

The below “Notification triggers’ detail the scenarios whereby either a Trainee or Admin may be notified, how they will be notified and the actions that can be taken as a result.
