Product Management

User story refinement

We have embarked on a systematic review of user stories across the whole of TIS - has been dubbed the Great User Story Refinement Challenge or GUSRC.

During a 2-day session (with Alison Parr) we went over stories and requirements gathered from 3 different sources in order to merge and remove duplicates and ensure we had captured all on the 'Product Backlog'. This is being tackled application by application, as well as cross-cutting areas such as Infrastructure and Platform Services (e.g. logging, auditing, authentication, document management).

We are about 30% through the task, with more sessions planned in the sprint to complete the remaining review.

Facilities - Stewart House moveRay Hill (Unlicensed)

The TIS team's space within Stewart House has been cleared of archive boxes and the wifi commissioned, we've tested it worked and are planning a full team test on Wednesday 29/03 to validate we can access all cloud services we need to.

We're still waiting on a large screen/surface and fixed network points, but will evaluate moving in prior to those being delivered.
